Resumo: | Previous research on interorganizational learning (IOL) has focused on identifying factors that may influence learning without differentiating the levels of management authority. We add value to this literature by analyzing factors that influence IOL at the organizational and network levels, which helps to identify the area of management authority. A case study in a network composed by organizations without interdependence (economic, process, co-production, or legal in nature) was conducted. Such a network configuration has been little evidenced in the literature. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with organizational representatives in the network and analyzed qualitatively using thematic analysis. The results showed that external factors to the network influence the motivation for its creation or reconfiguration; the network factors affect the knowledge acquisition, while the organizational factors are related to the knowledge internalization. |
