Resumo: The article discusses the role of Education in Human Rights in the context of the 70 years of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, especially in Brazil. Based on interdisciplinarity, the applied methodology is bibliographical and jurisprudential. Reviewing the main legal frameworks of international law, concepts and contexts on human rights education in Brazil, the article reflects on the challenges faced by professionals for multicultural education, promoting equity, diversity and citizenship.
