Resumo: | This Research was focused in the measurement of an incidence of a learning strategy based on used of educational technologies in the pragmatic competence in English, through a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design, which took part in a sample of 10th grade students from a school in the rural sector in Montería city, Colombia. The results revealed better levels of appropriation in the pragmatic competence with the experimental group and determined criteria of effective application of digital resources in the learning processes of the English language. |

The results revealed better levels of appropriation in the pragmatic competence with the experimental group and determined criteria of effective application of digital resources in the learning processes of the English language.Esta investigación se centró en medir la incidencia de una estrategia de aprendizaje basada en el uso de tecnologías educativas en la competencia pragmática en inglés, a través de un estudio cuantitativo con un diseño cuasi-experimental, que intervino una muestra de estudiantes de grado 10° de una institución del sector rural de la ciudad de Montería. Los resultados arrojaron mejores niveles de apropiación de la competencia en el grupo experimental, determinando la favorabilidad de vincular el uso de recursos digitales a los procesos de aprendizaje que favorecen y facilitan el dominio del idioma inglés.Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo medir a incidência de uma estratégia de aprendizagem baseada no uso de tecnologias educacionais sobre a competência pragmática em inglês, por meio de um estudo quantitativo com delineamento quase-experimental, que envolveu uma amostra de alunos do 10º ano de uma instituição da zona rural. setor da cidade de Montería.
