STUDENT INVOLVEMENT IN A FORUM OF A DISCIPLINE ON INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTER NETWORKS IN DISTANCE EDUCATION

Resumo: Higher education in Distance Education (DE) has gaining importance in Brazilian education. In this modality it is necessary that the students participate actively in the Virtual Learning Environments (VLE). Forum is one of the most important tools in VLE. A forensic post allows occurring interaction between students and tutors in order to place the construction of collective knowledge. The objective of this study is to present an attitude change study in relation to participation in forum on actors studying a discipline of Introduction to Network Technology. It was conducted a qualitative study. An action research one in a Technological course in which the actors have proposed in a democratic and participatory way, changes in forensic participation and evaluation criteria. Deploying to the changes, the results were encouraging and all praised the work done.

Deploying to the changes, the results were encouraging and all praised the work done.Os cursos superiores na modalidade de Educação a Distância (EAD) vêm ganhando importância na educação brasileira. Nesses é preciso que o aluno participe ativamente nos Ambientes Virtuais de Aprendizagem (AVA). Uma das ferramentas mais importantes dos AVA é o fórum. Neste se realizam postagens permitindo que ocorra a interatividade entre alunos e tutores de modo a ocorrer a construção do saber coletivo. O objetivo do presente trabalho é apresentar um estudo da mudança de atitude em relação à participação em fórum de EAD em alunos de uma disciplina de Introdução à Tecnologia de Redes. Realizou-se uma pesquisa qualitativa do tipo pesquisa-ação em um Curso Superior de Tecnologia no qual no encontro presencial os atores propuseram, de modo democrático e participativo, a mudança de critérios e forma de participação forense dos atores.
