Resumo: Abstract: The work on canvas aims to analyze the relationship of neoliberal policies and their impacts on the effectiveness of social rights in Brazil. Neoliberalism consists of an ideology linked to practices in the economic sphere that radiate effects on numerous social relations, among these relations is the effectiveness of social rights, these constitute a kind of rights that aim to assure the citizen basic conditions for a dignified life, social rights are categorized as benefits owed by the State to the individual, and the public power, in addition to formally providing for the rights, must ensure that they are effective, that is, they have regular fulfillment. The work follow a critical line when analyzing the effects of certain neoliberal policies and their impact on social rights.

El neoliberalismo consiste en una ideología ligada a prácticas en el ámbito económico que irradia efectos en innumerables relaciones sociales, entre estas relaciones se encuentra la efectividad de los derechos sociales, estos constituyen un tipo de derechos que tienen como objetivo garantizar a los ciudadanos condiciones básicas para una vida digna, derechos sociales. se catalogan como beneficios que el Estado debe a los individuos, y la autoridad pública, además de otorgar formalmente derechos, debe garantizar que sean efectivos, es decir, que se cumplan periódicamente. Desde una perspectiva teórica crítica, el trabajo señala que la adopción de estas políticas en el país contribuye al debilitamiento de los derechos sociales, incluso a su extinción tras las reformas neoliberales. El trabajo sigue una línea crítica al analizar los efectos de determinadas políticas neoliberales y su impacto en los derechos sociales.O trabalho em tela tem por objetivo analisar a relação das políticas neoliberais e os seus impactos na eficácia dos direitos sociais no Brasil. O neoliberalismo consiste numa ideologia vinculada a práticas na esfera econômica que irradia efeitos sobre inúmeras relações sociais, dentre essas relações está a eficácia dos direitos sociais, estes constituem espécie de direitos que visam assegurar ao cidadão condições básicas para uma vida digna, os direitos sociais são categorizados como prestações devidas pelo Estado ao particular, devendo o poder público além de prever formalmente os direitos, assegurar que eles sejam eficazes, ou seja, tenham regular cumprimento. Numa perspectiva teórica a partir de uma revisão bibliográfica e da legislação em vigor o trabalho aponta que a adoção dessas políticas no país contribui para o enfraquecimento dos direitos sociais ou até mesmo para sua extinção no bojo das reformas neoliberais.
