The discussion on geographic Climatology as one of the objects of knowledge of school Geography, covers several approaches that can be discussed in the classroom, as well as in the educational field. Thus, this article has as its general objective: To analyze the contents and methodologies integrated into teaching practice in the teaching-learning of Climatology in high school in the municipality of Tefé/AM. Its methodological construction occurred from the theoretical contribution based on Geographic Climatology, and the realization of the Systematic Review in major databases. A qualitative and quantitative approach was used, conducting interviews with teachers and students of the state education network, through Googleforms, as well as face-to-face interviews, observations and monitoring of classes. To analyze the information, we used the technique of elaborating descriptions with the interviewees' narratives, as well as the difficulties, training, challenges, and methodologies. The results obtained showed the gaps in the teachers' training in relation to Climatology, in addition to the scarce adoption of effective methodologies to promote effective teaching-learning, few works that encompass the aspects of teaching in Climatology, relating theory with practice in the insertion of the physical and social construction of the climate.
