Resumo: This text has as objective to present some reflections about the space distribution of the health services in the city of Montes Claros, in the period from 1982 to 2002, being its reference an analysis of the relationship that can be established between health and urban space. Following this line of thought, it is searched the comprehension of the recent territorial transformations that are happening in the urban area of Montes Claros.
