Resumo: | Environmental problems and preservation of natural resources, global warming, energy economy and sustainability have been the subject of interest organizations, especially with regard to information technology, as electronics waste can seriously impact the environment. Practices are adopted by various organizations and the study in question is about an education company, analyzing its actions, strategies and the media used for awareness of its customers and society, the IT (Information Technology) Green techniques employed so there is sustainability and in order to serve as a reference for companies in the same business. The method used to carry out the survey information was through an opinion poll conducted among employees who work in IT areas, purchase of materials and organization infrastructure maintenance, and they reported the amounts of equipment and parts discarded by the institution and Green IT practices they that are wanting to adopt, and these employees act as influencers on managers so decision-making for managing their technology ecosystems had as little impact as possible on the environment. The results of the analysis, quantification of discarded parts and what is the most prevalent type, such as ink cartridges, toner and CRT monitors, were relevant to the company managers, who take action, but did not have a dimension of the amount of e-waste discarded annually, and they can later state the predominant chemical elements in each that can cause environmental impact and can serve as model for other similar companies. |

Las prácticas se adoptarán por diversas organizaciones y el estudio en cuestión se refiere a una rama educativa de la empresa, el análisis de sus acciones, estrategias y medios de sensibilización que se utilizan con sus clientes y la sociedad, las prácticas utilizadas (Tecnología de la Información) Verdes por lo que es la sostenibilidad y con el fin de servir de referencia para las empresas en la misma línea de negocio. El método utilizado para llevar a cabo la información fue a través de encuesta de opinión llevada a cabo con los empleados que trabajan en áreas de TI, compra de materiales y mantenimiento de la infraestructura de la organización, que informaron cantidades de equipos y piezas desechadas por la institución y las prácticas de TI Verde que están buscando a adoptar, y estos empleados actúan como factores de influencia de los directivos para la toma de decisiones para la gestión de sus ecosistemas tecnológicos, fueron el menor impacto posible sobre el medio ambiente. Los resultados del análisis, cuantificación de piezas desechadas y lo que es el tipo más frecuente, como cartuchos de tinta, los monitores de tóner y CRT eran relevantes para los directivos de las empresas que tienen acciones, pero no escalan la cantidad de desechos electrónicos desechados anualmente donde se pueden relacionar los elementos químicos predominantes en cada uno de ellos, que pueden causar impacto ambiental y pueden servir de modelo para otras empresas similares.Os temas ambientais e de conservação dos recursos naturais, de aquecimento global, de economia de energia e de sustentabilidade vêm sendo alvo de interesse de organizações, principalmente as relacionadas à tecnologia da informação (TI), uma vez que resíduos de equipamentos eletrônicos podem impactar seriamente o meio ambiente. Práticas são adotadas por várias empresas e este estudo aborda uma delas, do ramo de educação, para analisar suas ações, estratégias, meios de conscientização junto aos clientes e à sociedade, práticas de TI verde utilizadas para que haja sustentabilidade e sirva como referência às empresas do mesmo ramo de atuação. O levantamento de informações foi feito por meio de pesquisas de opinião realizadas com colaboradores que atuam em áreas de TI, compra de materiais e manutenção de infraestrutura da organização, que informaram quantidades de equipamentos e peças descartadas pela instituição e práticas de TI verde que estão procurando adotar. Esses colaboradores atuam como influenciadores dos gestores para tornar a tomada de decisão no gerenciamento de seus ecossistemas tecnológicos o menos impactante possível ao meio ambiente. Os resultados obtidos na análise, quantificação e classificação das peças (cartuchos de tinta, tonner e monitores CTR - Catodic Ray Tube – tubo de raios catódicos) foram relevantes para os gestores da empresa que não conheciam a dimensão da quantidade de lixo eletrônico descartado anualmente.
