Resumo: This research has the objective to analyze the history and development of the political pedagogical categories indicated on the Gramsci’s works as to verify if Togliatti, responsible for the archive e divulgation of Gramscian thought, realized omissions and interferences that may adulterate the Gramscian thought. On this aspect, the research prioritizes the political pedagogical category, as understands it being essential on the historical, social and educational perspective of Gramsci. By a bibliographical research (books, scientific articles, testimonials, mail, etc.) is intended to verify the genesis, the production and the divulgation of the Gramscian thought between the decades of 1910s and 1960s. In this case, considering the historical context at the time (Second World War, Cold War, ascension and decline of stalinism and fascism, as well, the internal political fights in the Italian Communist Party and in the Communist International), is sought to comprehend the way of Togliatti performance in the filing and publishing oh the cultural heritage of Gramsci, as well the relation between both. In the publishes conducted by Togliatti (1940-1965) there was an organization of the prison notebooks by topics, not by the period that they were written. In the publishing of the mail, in 1947, Togliatti excluded some passages and letters in which Gramsci made allusion to the rupture between both and criticized the Stalinism politics. The cuts were justified by the agitated political scenario as national and international. However, these would serve also to avoid other reading keys and interpretations that were not intended for the party. Nonetheless, the research comprehends that the organization of the prison books and the exclusion of most letters in the Togliatti edition of 1947, did not mean the omission or exclusion of the political-pedagogical categories present in the Gramsci’s works. Before the Second World War, the Gramscian political pedagogical categories, as how the cultural hegemony, historical block, intellectual organic and war of positions, were not accepted by the Stalinist group, the Communist International and the Italian Communist Party. With the fall of Nazism in European level and the Fascism in national level and the cold war scenario between the two worldwide superpowers, United States and Soviet Union, the mentioned Gramscian political-pedagogical categories were not only vi accepted, but put into action by the Soviet Union in the European scenario and by the Italian Communist Party in Italy. The leadership of the European communist parties, in special way the Russian Communist Party, understood that the publication of Gramsci’s works with his political pedagogical categories, could serve as instruments to form e conquer the intellectuals, to form and free the subaltern classes and to reach the cultural hegemony as condition of possibility to political hegemony (revolution).

Neste aspecto, a pesquisa prioriza a categoria político-pedagógica, visto que entende ser ela essencial na perspectiva histórica, social e educacional de Gramsci. Por intermédio de uma pesquisa bibliográfica (livros, artigos científicos, depoimentos, correspondências etc.) busca-se verificar a gênese, a produção e a divulgação do pensamento de Gramsci entre as décadas de 1910 e 1960. No caso, considerando o contexto histórico da época (Segunda Guerra Mundial, Guerra Fria, ascenção e declínio do stalinismo e do fascismo, bem como, as lutas políticas internas no Partido Comunista Italiano (PCI) e na Internacional Comunista), buscou-se compreender a forma de atuação de Togliatti no arquivamento e na forma de publicação da herança cultural de Gramsci, bem como a relação entre ambos. Nas publicações conduzidas por Togliatti (1940-1965) houve uma organização dos Cadernos do Cárcere por assunto, e não pelo período em que foram escritos. Na publicação das Cartas, em 1947, Togliatti excluiu algumas passagens e cartas nas quais Gramsci fazia alusão à ruptura entre ambos e traçava críticas à política stalinista. Os cortes seriam justificados pelo conturbado cenário político nacional e internacional. Todavia, estes serviram, também para evitar outras chaves de leituras e interpretações que não fossem aquelas pretendidas pelo partido. Não obstante, a pequisa compreende que a forma de organização dos Cadernos do Cárcere e a exclusão de maioria das carta, na edição togliattiana de 1947, não significou omisão ou exclusão das categorias político-pedagógicas presente nas obras de Gramsci. Antes da II Guerra Mundial, as categorias político-pedagógicas gramscianas, tais como, hegemonia cultural, bloco histórico, intelectuais orgânico e guerra de posição, não eram aceitas pelo grupo stalinista, pela Internacional Comunista e pelo PCI. Com a queda do nazismo em nível europeu e do fascismo em nível nacional e o cenário da guerra fria entre as dua novas superpotências mundiais, Estados Unidos e União Soviética, as mencionadas categorias político-pedagógicas gramscianas foram não apenas aceitas, mas colocadas em prática pela União Soviética no cenário europeu e pelo PCI na Itália.
