Extensão na Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná: um estudo sobre o tema sexualidade.

extension activities of the Western Paraná State University, specially focusing on the Sexual Education area, considering that we intend not only to contribute to the Unioeste historic survey but also to the reflections related to the basic education scope. We present in this paper some considerations to the university extension, aiming to build relations between the curriculum pattern, the Unioeste context and the tripod research, teaching and extension. Afterwards, we are going to do a survey of the legal, standard and curriculum aspects that guide sexuality in the national scope within the educational area aiming the embodiment and the legitimation of the theme within the scholar environment. For the research, we checked all the extension ativities developed by the university within the period of 2003 and 2018 with the Extension Dean, using the online portal, and after this, we interviewed some of the respective activities coordinators. Being so, we analyzed the data based on the Content Analysis in order to categorize it and make inferences to the results which could able us to interpret these same results using the discussion of the referential authors of this paper. First, we noticed a decrease of the activities in the last years due to political/social contexts that surround our country. However some activities are still on aiming to the theme discussion. We verified, this way, that the extension activities at Unioeste aim to promote professional education that enable theme multipliers that join the respect to the other and the whole protection of the individuals. Regarding the Unioeste professors comprehensions about sexuality, we perceived that all of them present worries within the social theme bias. We also realized that the professors recognize the importance of the extension activities, however, they have much fear and questions about the extension curriculum implantation. We perceived that although the context is not favorable for the theme discussion, the resistance room is searched for continuing to discuss and debate
