Resumo: OBJECTIVE: To identify the intention of using technology, based on the influence of perception of use, perceived utility, perception of ease of use and the influence of subjective norms on the intention of using technology within the field of activity of the Bachelor of Physical Education of a university in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.METHODS: A Survey was held with 110 students of the course. The statistical technique used was structural equation modeling (SEM) through which the conceptual model was tested.RESULTS: The results indicate good fit of the model according to the literature. The constructs referring to perceived ease of use and perceived utility presented positive effects on the intention to use technology, contrary to subjective norms.CONCLUSION: This research fills the gap of studies referring to the use of technology in the interventions of academics of the bachelor’s degree in Physical Education.

A técnica estatística usada foi modelagem de equações estruturais (MEE) por meio da qual foi testado o modelo conceitual.RESULTADOS: Os resultados indicam bom ajustamento do modelo de acordo com a literatura.
