Use of e-commerce in the commercialization of family farming products: a systematic literature review

Resumo: | Family farming is an important food supplier, but it faces difficulties in commercialize its production. Alternative forms of commercialization of agricultural products have been emerging, and an inclination towards the use of e-commerce is perceived, which has also helped in the disclosure of its products. The objective of this study was to raise the state of the art in research that relates family farming to the use of e-commerce and its disclosure strategies in recent years, including during the COVID-19 pandemic. The technical procedure used was a systematic literature review, following the Methodi Ordinatio protocol. The results showed that e-commerce has helped family farmers in the commercialization and disclosure of their products, bringing economic and social benefits. Additionally, gaps in future research on the subject were pointed out. |

Están surgiendo formas alternativas de comercialización de productos agrícolas, y hay una inclinación hacia el uso del comercio electrónico, que también ha ayudado en la difusión de sus productos. El objetivo de este estudio fue relevar el estado del arte de las investigaciones que relacionan la agricultura familiar con el uso del comercio electrónico y sus estrategias de difusión en los últimos años, incluso durante la pandemia de COVID-19. El procedimiento técnico utilizado fue una revisión sistemática de la literatura, siguiendo el protocolo Methodi Ordinatio. Los resultados mostraron que el comercio electrónico ha ayudado a los agricultores familiares en la comercialización y difusión de sus productos, trayendo importantes beneficios económicos y sociales. Además, se señalaron lagunas en futuras investigaciones sobre el tema.A agricultura familiar é uma importante fornecedora de alimentos, mas enfrenta dificuldades para comercializar sua produção. Estão emergindo formas alternativas de comercialização dos produtos agrícolas, e percebe-se uma inclinação para o uso do e-commerce, que também têm auxiliado na divulgação de seus produtos. O objetivo deste estudo foi levantar o estado da arte das pesquisas que relacionam a agricultura familiar ao uso do e-commerce e suas estratégias de divulgação nos últimos anos, inclusive durante a pandemia da COVID-19. O procedimento técnico empregado foi a revisão sistemática da literatura, seguindo o protocolo Methodi Ordinatio. Os resultados mostraram que o e‑commerce tem ajudado os agricultores familiares na comercialização e divulgação de seus produtos, trazendo benefícios econômicos e sociais importantes.
