Este texto consistiu em investigar relações entre desenvolvimento urbano e processos de des(re)territorialização de pessoas menores de idade em situação de rua e de risco social na região central das cidades de São Paulo - Brasil e San José - Costa Rica, no período de 2000 a 2017, com vistas à identificação de referenciais, possibilidades e/m desafios para vivências de cuidado, solidariedade e equidade social, para/com esta parcela da população regional no atual contexto latino-americano. Conforme a autora,  a tese não se configura como um estudo comparativo entre os dois países latino-americanos, mas sim busca a relação entre as duas realidades – dois territórios – que, apesar de suas diferenças e especificidades, têm em comum a presença de pessoas menores de idade em situação de rua e de risco social nos centros urbanos. Leme (2019) embasou-se em estudos que abordam a temática da decolonialidade e outras discussões interdisciplinares que permeiam a temática do desenvolvimento.Abstract: This paper consisted of investigating the relationship between urban development and processes of de(re)territorialization of homeless and socially underage minors in the central region of the cities of São Paulo - Brazil and San José - Costa Rica, in the period of 2000 to 2017, with a view to identifying references, possibilities and/in challenges for experiences of care, solidarity and social equity, for/with this portion of the regional population in the current Latin American context. According to the author, the thesis is not a comparative study between the two Latin American countries, but rather seeks the relationship between the two realities - two territories - which, despite their differences and specificities, have the presence of people in common. homeless minors and at social risk in urban centers. Leme (2019) was based on studies that address the theme of decoloniality and other interdisciplinary discussions that permeate the theme of development.
