Abstract: This paper consisted of investigating the relationship between urban development and processes of de(re)territorialization of homeless and socially underage minors in the central region of the cities of São Paulo - Brazil and San José - Costa Rica, in the period of 2000 to 2017, with a view to identifying references, possibilities and/in challenges for experiences of care, solidarity and social equity, for/with this portion of the regional population in the current Latin American context. According to the author, the thesis is not a comparative study between the two Latin American countries, but rather seeks the relationship between the two realities - two territories - which, despite their differences and specificities, have the presence of people in common. homeless minors and at social risk in urban centers. Leme (2019) was based on studies that address the theme of decoloniality and other interdisciplinary discussions that permeate the theme of development. |
