The post-conflict in Colombia with a gender perspective: challenges from education

Resumo: | In the present article a topic of absolute actuality in Colombia is approached: the postconflict. The country has lived for six decades in an internal armed conflict where the Colombian State and the guerrillas of the extreme left were involved initially and later the right-wing paramilitary groups, the drug cartels and the criminal gangs. From the article this situation is approached with a gender perspective: part of the educational context of Higher Education addressing the relationship between the University and society; the role of women during the armed conflict and during the post-conflict is shown; Reflections on the need to move towards a school for citizenship are presented (seeing educational institutions as elements of social transformation that move towards democratic peace and gender equality and considering exercises of citizenship in the classroom for the construction of peace and equality. |

O país viveu durante seis décadas em um conflito armado interno onde o Estado colombiano e os guerrilheiros da extrema esquerda se envolveram inicialmente e depois os grupos paramilitares de direita, os cartéis da droga e as gangues criminosas. Do artigo, esta situação é abordada com uma perspectiva de gênero: parte do contexto educacional do Ensino Superior abordando a relação entre a Universidade e a sociedade; o papel das mulheres durante o conflito armado e durante o pós-conflito é mostrado; reflexões sobre a necessidade de avançar para uma escola de cidadania são apresentadas, vendo as instituições educacionais como elementos de transformação social que se movem para a paz democrática e a igualdade de gênero e considerando os exercícios de cidadania na sala de aula para a construção da paz e igualdade. En el presente artículo se aborda un tema de absoluta actualidad en Colombia: el postconflicto. El país ha vivido durante seis décadas un conflicto armado interno donde estaban involucrados inicialmente el Estado colombiano y las guerrillas de extrema izquierda y posteriormente los grupos paramilitares de extrema derecha, los carteles del narcotráfico y las bandas criminales.
