Resumo: Our approach is focused on the issue of pacifism and education in Portugal during the twenty-first century. We consider cyberspace as an arena for its constitution as a social problem. After exploratory research we identified the expressions "pacifism and education", "education and pacifism" and "education for peace" as a starting point for the establishment of a documental collection. The research carried on in the web 2.0, mobilizing Chrome as the browser and Google as the search engine, under our established restrictions of location (Portugal) and language (Portuguese). The sources were subjected to documentary analysis using the critical method. The study allowed us to characterize the diversity of sources and the audiences they are aimed for, to identify organizations and actors, arguments, the different positions and objectives, and to develop a comprehensive reading of education for peace in Portugal, both as a social and an educational problem.

Consideramos o ciberespaço como arena para a sua constituição como problema social. Após pesquisas exploratórias identificámos as expressões “pacifismo e educação”, “educação e pacifismo” e “educação para a paz” como ponto de partida para a constituição de um acervo documental. A pesquisa realizou-se na web 2.0, mobilizando como browser, o Chrome, e com recurso a um motor de busca, o Google. Como restrições estabeleceram-se a localização (Portugal) e a língua (português). As fontes foram sujeitas a análise documental com recurso ao método crítico. O estudo permitiu-nos: caracterizar a diversidade de fontes em presença e as audiências a que se destinam; identificar organizações e atores, argumentos, diferentes posicionamentos e objetivos; elaborar uma leitura compreensiva da educação para a paz, em Portugal, como problema socioeducativo.Nuestro enfoque se centra en el tema del pacifismo y la educación, en Portugal, en el siglo XXI. Consideramos el ciberespacio como arena para su constitución como problema social. Después de investigaciones exploratorias identificamos las expresiones "pacifismo y educación", "educación y pacifismo" y "educación para la paz" como punto de partida para la constitución de un acervo documental. La encuesta se realizó en la web 2.0, movilizando como navegador, Chrome, y como motor de búsqueda, Google. A medida que las restricciones de ubicación reiterada (Portugal) y la lengua (portugués). Las fuentes se sometieron a un análisis documental con el método crítico.
