Resumo: | This paper is related to the theme of child protagonism in bodily practices within the context of Child Education. More specifically, we aim at identifying teachers’ perceptions on playfulness, bodily culture, bodily practices, and moving-oneself, identifying bodily practices organization and, furthermore, analyzing ways in which teachers incorporate child protagonism when choosing and organizing bodily practices. The data collection used semi-structured interviews with six Pedagogy professionals working in Child Education. Results indicate that while teachers know the importance of moving-oneself and bodily practices, these practices and child protagonism are not incorporated to their pedagogical practices with educational intentions. It is essential to acknowledge the child being as a body in its fullness in the educational process, and to promote child protagonism in cultural creations and social relations |

It is essential to acknowledge the child being as a body in its fullness in the educational process, and to promote child protagonism in cultural creations and social relationsO objetivo do estudo, de abordagem qualitativa, consiste em analisar as perspectivas de professoras em relação ao protagonismo das crianças na vivência das práticas corporais e do se-movimentar na Educação Infantil.
