The present work presents the experience lived by a team of researchers in the proposal and execution of the Project “(Re) Thinking the Pedagogical Practice with the Aid of ICT”, developed in a municipal school in the city of Alto Araguaia - MT, with a group of Basic Education teachers. The proposal sought data for the understanding of the educational context and promoted an intervention, albeit incipient, in school reality, however, without imposing a practice of other and distant from the knowledge of the teachers involved, through the action research methodology. Based on a theoretical constructivist perspective, the project sought to unleash the process of “reflection on action” while seeking to instrumentalize participants for the use of digital technologies in the classroom. The results, although not fully achieved, indicate the effectiveness of the longer and more assisted continuing education for the effective use of technologies in pedagogical practice.
