Resumo: | The present essay raises some questions about the effects of mediation in discourse, especially when it operates with the contradictory references natural versus social to guide the understanding of the processes of (de)humanization of our world. The theoretical orientation is based, initially, on Bakhtin, specifically in what concerns his conception of discourse as social reflection and refraction, and as a dialogic and polyphonic process. In relation to the theme of the possible meanings of “human life”, the contributions of Lukács and Heller allow a discussion, even though restricted to the confines of this article, of the effects of conceptual and operational mistakes and the relevance of discourse to overcome them. |

Especialmente cuando se opera con las referencias contradictorias natural versus social para orientar la compresión de los procesos de (des)humanización del mundo de los hombres. La orientación teórica se hace, en un primer plano, basada en Bajtín, específicamente en la concepción de discurso como reflejo y refracción social y como proceso dialógico y polifónico. Para el abordaje de la temática sobre los sentidos posibles de “vida humana”, las contribuciones de Lukács y Heller posibilitan orientar, aunque de manera limitada al espacio del artículo, una reflexión sobre los efectos de los equívocos conceptuales y operacionales y la importancia del discurso para su superación.Cette réflexion cherche à installer quelques questions sur les effets de la médiation du discours, surtout quand on opère avec les références contradictoires naturel versus social pour orienter la compréhension des procès de (des)humanisation du monde des hommes. L’orientation théorique se fait, dans un premier moment, fondée chez Bakhtine, surtout en ce qui concerne la conception de discours comme reflet et réfraction social et comme procès dialogique et polyphonique. Pour l’approche du thème sur les sens possibles de « vie humaine », les contributions de Lukács et Heller possibilitent à faire passer, malgré son caractère restreint à l’espace de l’article, une réflexion sur les effets des équivoques conceptuels et opérateurs et l’importance du discours pour les surmonter.A presente reflexão procura instalar algumas indagações sobre os efeitos da mediação do discurso, especialmente quando se opera com as referências contraditórias natural versus social para orientar a compreensão dos processos de (des)humanização do mundo dos homens. A orientação teórica se faz, num primeiro plano, baseada em Bakhtin, especificamente quanto à concepção de discurso como reflexo e refração social e como processo dialógico e polifônico.
