Equity and social cohesion in the training of social professions: focus on the training "early years educator"

Resumo: From various documents, this paper proposes a reflection on the issue of challenges and opportunities for equity and social cohesion within the centers of social work education, especially in the sector "Early years educator." In a first step, we analyze the results of the investigation of the social work training conducted by the Directorate of Research, Studies, Evaluation and Statistics of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health with institutions training, social professions in 2010, on the issue of student profiles to examine the issue of social diversity. We then discuss the parameters, both individual and institutional, that may hamper or, conversely, to work in favor of this diversity and to promote non-equity and social cohesion within the group students. In the second part, the article will conduct a focus on training “Early years educator” and will interrogate the issue of equity and social cohesion in putting into perspective with the expected and the realities of the profession. It will then focus on training content, both in terms of training repository pedagogical choices, to identify what place is reserved in this training path, developing personal skills, interpersonal, linguistic and cultural critical to trades involving a human relationship.

Dans un premier temps, nous analyserons les résultats de l'enquête relative à la formation au travail social réalisée par la Direction de la Recherche, des Études, de l'Évaluation et des Statistiques du Ministère des Affaires Sociales et de la Santé auprès des établissements de formation aux professions sociales en 2010, sur la question du profil des étudiants pour interroger la question de la mixité sociale. Nous aborderons ensuite les paramètres, tant individuels qu'institutionnels, susceptibles de freiner ou, au contraire, d'œuvrer en faveur de cette mixité et  de favoriser ou non l'équité et la cohésion sociale au sein des collectifs étudiants. Dans une seconde partie, l'article réalisera un focus sur la formation d'Éducateur de jeunes enfants et   interrogera la question de l'équité et de la cohésion sociale dans sa mise en perspective avec les attendus et les réalités du métier.
