PLAYING, PLEASURE, EXPERIMENT! The Arts presence in Teacher’s Training at the University of Évora

Resumo: This article discusses the space/time, the practices and the symbolic status that the artistic education has in the teacher training, based on the curricular design of the Education Degree and the two Masters of Pre-School Education and Pre-School Education and Teaching of the 1st cycle of the University of Évora, which is included in the curricular guidelines and experience as a teacher, researcher and coordinator of educational artistic projects that has long been striving to bring together two scientific fields and sometimes different world views/interpretations. It also intend to justify the urgent need for immersion in creative and reflexive processes as a condition for the development of a quality artistic education, as well as the development of lively partnerships with the cultural and artistic contexts of production and dissemination.

It also intend to justify the urgent need for immersion in creative and reflexive processes as a condition for the development of a quality artistic education, as well as the development of lively partnerships with the cultural and artistic contexts of production and dissemination.Este artículo discute el espacio/tiempo, el tipo de prácticas y el estatuto simbólico que la educación artística tiene en la formación de futuros maestros y educadores de la infancia, teniendo como base: el diseño curricular de la Licenciatura en Educación Básica y de los dos Masters en Educación Pre-Escolar y Educación Pre-Escolar y Enseñanza del 1er ciclo de la Universidad de Évora; las orientaciones curriculares para la educación Pre-Escolar; y la experiencia como docente, investigadora y coordinadora de proyectos artísticos educativos que desde hace mucho viene luchando por aproximar dos campos científicos y visiones/interpretaciones del mundo, a veces distintas. Pretende justificar la urgente necesidad de inmersión en los procesos de creación/reflexión y el desarrollo de alianzas vivas con los contextos de producción y divulgación cultural y artística, como condición para el desarrollo de una educación artística de calidad.Este artigo discute o espaço/tempo, as práticas e o estatuto simbólico que a educação artística tem na formação de professores e educadores de infância, tendo como base: o desenho curricular da Licenciatura em Educação Básica e dos dois Mestrados de Educação Pré-Escolar e Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1º ciclo da Universidade de Évora; as Orientações Curriculares da Educação Pré-Escolar; e a experiência enquanto docente, investigadora e coordenadora de projetos artísticos educacionais, que há muito vem lutando por aproximar dois campos científicos e visões/interpretações do mundo, por vezes distintas.
