EDUCATIONAL POLICIES FOR BRAZILIAN HIGH SCHOOL: FROM CIVIL-MILITARY DICTATORSHIP TO NEW REFORM 2017

Resumo: This article analyzes the historical and political assumptions for secondary education in Brazil, with emphasis from the military regime (1964-1985). The aim is to resume historical understanding and establish analyzes and comparisons with the current High School Reform (in Brazilian Portuguese: Reforma do Ensino Médio, REM) of 2017. It refers to a documentary and bibliographic research, in which the analysis of laws was carried out and official documents that regulate secondary education in Brazil, in order to understand its historical assumptions and developments, implications and consequences that permeate the current REM. The results show that the policy for high school was geared towards the formation of individuals through guidelines based on the principles of neoliberal economics, as a way to commercialize high school and train workers with minimal subjectivities to be flexible service providers available in the job market.

El objetivo es retomar el entendimiento histórico y establecer análisis y comparaciones con la actual Reforma de Secundaria (REM) de 2017. Se refiere a una investigación documental y bibliográfica, en la que se realizó el análisis de leyes y documentos oficiales que reglamentaron y reglamentaron la secundaria. educación en Brasil, a fin de comprender sus supuestos y desarrollos históricos, implicaciones y consecuencias que permean el REM actual. Os resultados apontam que a política para o ensino médio esteve voltada para a formação de indivíduos por meio de direcionamentos baseados nos princípios da economia neoliberal como forma de mercantilizar o ensino médio e formar trabalhadores com subjetividades mínimas para serem prestadores de serviços flexíveis à disposição no mercado de trabajo.O presente artigo analisa os pressupostos históricos e políticos para o Ensino Médio no Brasil, com ênfase a partir do regime militar (1964-1985). O intuito é retomar a compreensão histórica e estabelecer análises e comparações com a atual política educacional decorrente da Reforma do Ensino Médio (REM) de 2017. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa de cunho documental e bibliográfico, na qual realizou-se a análise de leis e documentos oficiais que estabeleceram a política para o Ensino Médio no Brasil, com o intuito de compreender os pressupostos históricos e os desdobramentos, implicações e consequências que permeiam a atual REM.
