ARTISTIC AND AESTHETIC TRAINING: REFLECTIONS FOR TEACHER ACTIVITY IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Resumo: The aesthetic choices made by teachers for teaching in early childhood education are directly related to the content appropriate for their training. The objective in this text is to reflect on the possibilities of aesthetic and artistic development of teachers to work in Early Childhood Education. A bibliographic study was carried out with as primary references the texts Aesthetic Education and Imagination and creation in Childhood by L.S. Vigotski (1986-1934). This text considers that teacher training based on continuous studies on themes related to artistic knowledge and the creative activity of children can contribute to the reorganization of the actions performed in Child Education institutions aiming at the aesthetic development of students.

El objetivo en este texto es reflexionar sobre las posibilidades de desarrollo estético y artístico de los profesores para actuación en la Educación Infantil. Fue realizado un estudio bibliográfico teniendo como referencias primarias los textos Educación Estética e Imaginación y creación en la Infancia de L.S. Vigotski (1986 - 1934). El texto considera que la formación de profesores, amparada en estudios continuos sobre temáticas relacionadas al conocimiento artístico y la actividad creadora de los niños, puede contribuir con la reorganización de las acciones realizadas en las instituciones de Educación Infantil, visando el desarrollo estético de los escolares.As escolhas estéticas feitas pelos professores para o ensino na Educação Infantil estão diretamente relacionadas com os conteúdos apropriados em sua formação. O objetivo, neste texto, é refletir sobre as possibilidades de desenvolvimento estético e artístico de professores para atuação na Educação Infantil. Foi realizado um estudo bibliográfico, tendo como referências primárias os textos Educação Estética e Imaginação e criação na Infância de L.S. Vigotski (1986 – 1934).
