IMPACT OF TRAINING AT WORK ON A FEDERAL EDUCATION INSTITUTION OF SANTA CATARINA

Resumo: This research investigated the relationship between the characteristics of the trainees, transference support, and organizational support in the impact of training at work, in a Federal Education Institution in Santa Catarina. We considered the face-to-face and distance training carried out by administrative technical staff between 2014 and 2017. The research sample had 294 employees of the institution's administrative area. The questionnaire originated from the Impact model of Abbad (1999) composed of 4 dimensions. The answers of the employees were submitted to the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), aiming at the grouping of questions and the application of multiple linear regression. Results revealed that predictor variables of the General Research Model explained together 33% of variability of Impact of Training in width. Characteristics of the trainees' and perception of acquisition of new skills showed as the main predictor, followed by transfer support. The organizational support variable did not present significant statistical influence.

The organizational support variable did not present significant statistical influence.Este artigo buscou analisar a relação das variáveis caracterí­sticas da clientela, suporte à transferência e apoio organizacional no impacto do treinamento no trabalho, abordado em amplitude, em uma instituição federal de ensino de Santa Catarina. Foram considerados os treinamentos presenciais e à distância realizados pelos servidores técnicos administrativos, entre 2014 e 2017. A amostra da pesquisa foi composta por 294 servidores da instituição. Aplicou-se um questionário adaptado do modelo Impact de Abbad (1999) composto por quatro dimensões. Após coleta os dados foram submetidos ao método Technique for Order Preference by Similarityto Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), visando o grupamento de questões e a aplicação da regressão linear múltipla. Os resultados apontaram que as variáveis antecedentes selecionadas neste estudo explicaram juntas 33% da variabilidade total do impacto do treinamento no trabalho. Concluiu-se que a variável caracterí­stica da clientela se apresentou como a principal preditora, seguida do suporte à transferência.
