Resumo: The interview, based on Ilma Passos Alencastro’s thoughts, discusses the Didactic in the initial teachers' training to qualify students as teachers to work basic education. Theoretical and practical issues are addressed that take up interviewee's experiences, studies, research, and productions about this discipline, which is part of the pedagogy field and that plays a central role in the didactic-pedagogical training at the undergraduate level. Didactic is a discipline that, in turn, has as its object the successful teaching of the students. The interviewee's answers addressed a long-lasting confrontation between theory and practice, not only in her academic training but also in her professional performance. This led to deep reflections on didactics in the teacher training field. Her reflections confirm the complexity of the teachers' training and the central role of the didactic over this process. Besides, it may conclude that it is necessary to rethink the way this discipline is carried out in undergraduate courses throughtout Brazil to make this process democratic with open and critical discussions. Its current challenge is the convergence towards an innovative Didactic based on the  Historical-Critical Pedagogy.

Se abordan cuestiones teóricas y prácticas que retoman experiencias, estudios, investigaciones y producciones del entrevistado sobre el tema Campo de la Pedagogía, que desempeña un papel central en la formación didáctica y pedagógica en los cursos de pregrado. La didáctica es una asignatura del plan de estudios de los cursos de grado que tiene por objeto la enseñanza con vistas al aprendizaje de los alumnos. A partir de la relación teoría-práctica, se materializa en el acto educativo para lograr los propósitos de la educación básica. Las reflexiones posibilitadas por las preguntas indican que la confrontación entre la teoría y la práctica fue una constante en la formación de la autora, así como en su desempeño profesional, lo que la llevó a cuestionarse sobre la Didáctica en la formación docente. Sus reflexiones reafirman la complejidad de la formación del profesorado y la relevancia de esta asignatura en este proceso, por lo que es necesario repensar la Didáctica para los cursos de grado de forma democrática, con discusiones abiertas y críticas. Su reto actual es la convergencia hacia una propuesta de Didáctica innovadora, basada en la Pedagogía Histórica Crítica.  Esta entrevista discute a didática na formação inicial de professores para a atuação na educação básica a partir do diálogo com Ilma Passos Alencastro Veiga, Professora Emérita da Faculdade de Educação da Universidade da Brasília. São abordadas questões teórico-práticas que retomam experiências, estudos, pesquisas e produções da entrevistada acerca da disciplina Campo da Pedagogia, a qual cumpre papel central na formação didático-pedagógica nas licenciaturas. A Didática é disciplina do currículo de cursos de licenciatura que tem como objeto o ensino com vistas às aprendizagens dos estudantes. Fundamentada na relação teoria-prática, concretiza-se no ato educativo para o alcance das finalidades da educação básica. As reflexões possibilitadas pelas questões indicam que o confronto entre teoria e prática foi uma constante na formação da autora, bem como em sua atuação profissional, levando-a a questionamentos acerca da Didática na formação docente. Suas reflexões reafirmam a complexidade da formação de professores e a relevância dessa disciplina nesse processo, portanto, é necessário repensar a Didática para os cursos de licenciatura de forma democrática, com discussões abertas e críticas.
