The use of Iramuteq software in the analysis of textual data in a systematic literature review

Resumo: Research in the field of Education has used technology to its advantage when it comes to data analysis and categorization, but specifically in systematic literature review, as this article addresses. One of the possibilities is Iramuteq, free software, linked to the statistical software R and its programming language is python. The statistical analyses performed by its algorithms make it possible to recover the context to which the words belong, organize, classify, and perform a series of analyses that can contribute to the researcher's work. In view of this significant contribution, this article aims to discuss the use of the Iramuteq software based on the possibilities observed in the results of a systematic literature review. Thus, we sought to present the use of Iramuteq based on the potential of the following software reports: lexicographic analysis, similarity analysis and descending hierarchical classification. Despite not exhausting the possibilities of the software in this article, we emphasize the relevance of its use to make the process of textual data analysis more agile, concise and coherent. Furthermore, we emphasize the researcher's figure as an essential part for the adequacy of the use of Iramuteq in research, because it is up to him a previous preparation, such as: the knowledge of the possibilities of Iramuteq reports, for an adequate preparation of the text corpus and the knowledge of the study object itself, to use the reports in an adequate and coherent way with the objectives of the research to be performed.

Las investigaciones en el área de la Educación han utilizado las tecnologías a su favor cuando se trata del análisis y la categorización de datos, pero específicamente en la revisión sistemática de la literatura, como aborda este artículo. Una de las posibilidades es Iramuteq, software libre, vinculado al software estadístico R y su lenguaje de programación es python. Los análisis estadísticos que realizan sus algoritmos permiten recuperar el contexto al que pertenecen las palabras, organizarlas, clasificarlas y realizar una serie de análisis que pueden contribuir al trabajo del investigador. En vista de esta importante contribución, este artículo pretende discutir el uso del software Iramuteq a partir de las posibilidades observadas en los resultados de una revisión bibliográfica sistemática. Así, se buscó presentar el uso de Iramuteq a partir de la potencialidad de los siguientes informes de software: análisis lexicográfico, análisis de similitud y clasificación jerárquica descendente. A pesar de no agotar las posibilidades del software en este artículo, destacamos la relevancia de su uso para hacer más ágil, conciso y coherente el proceso de análisis de datos textuales. Además, se destaca la figura del investigador como parte esencial para la adecuación del uso del Iramuteq a las investigaciones, pues de él depende una preparación previa, como es: el conocimiento de las posibilidades de los informes del Iramuteq, para una adecuada preparación del corpus textual y el conocimiento del propio objeto de estudio, para utilizar los informes de forma adecuada y coherente con los objetivos de la investigación a realizar.As pesquisas na área da Educação têm utilizado as tecnologias ao seu favor no que tange à análise e categorização de dados, mas, especificamente, na revisão sistemática de literatura, como aborda este artigo. Uma das possibilidades é o Iramuteq, software livre, vinculado ao software estatístico R e a sua linguagem de programação é python. As análises estatísticas realizadas por seus algoritmos possibilitam a recuperação do contexto ao qual as palavras pertencem, organiza, classifica e executa uma série de análises que podem contribuir com o trabalho do pesquisador. Tendo em vista essa significativa contribuição, o artigo tem como objetivo discutir a utilização do software Iramuteq a partir das possibilidades observadas nos resultados de uma revisão sistemática de literatura. Dessa forma, buscou-se apresentar a utilização do Iramuteq a partir da potencialidade dos seguintes relatórios do software: análise lexicográfica, análise de similitude e classificação hierárquica descendente. Apesar de não esgotar as possibilidades do software neste artigo, ressalta-se a relevância de sua utilização para tornar o processo de análise dos dados textuais mais ágil, conciso e coerente.
