Resumo: Media convergence is often becoming the subject of study due to technological advances and a participatory culture, the impact that these advances have caused has changed the way the public interacts and consumes traditional media. Different listeners of different ages will interact and consume radio in different ways. Through a bibliographic research we will analyze the relationship with the listeners, until the arrival on the internet and the new convergence tools that are being used by radio stations, to achieve the proposed objectives to: identify the radio stations inserted in Joaçaba, as well as its evolution and the use of convergence; analyze the different generations and their consumption profiles; investigate consumer perceptions of radio and social media. Given this, a qualitative research was conducted, classifying radio consumption between different generations. As a result, one can see what are the habits and trends that different generations adopt when consuming radio, what the interviewed individuals look for in radio and what are the convergence media that can reach them.

Universidade do Oeste de Santa Catarina2020-06-29info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.unoesc.edu.br/acsa/article/view/20807Unoesc & Ciência - ACSA; v. 10 n. 2 (2019): Unoesc & Ciência ACSA; 101-1082178-34462178-5872reponame:Unoesc & Ciência.
