This research aims to understand, from the Marxian critical perspective, the social construction of adolescence in contemporary capitalist context of the consumer market and its nuances as determining factors in juvenile sociability. This objective arises from the assumption that, considering the phenomenon of criminalization of poverty, related to the mass culture of the association process to the practices of elaborated upon violence in Rio and São Paulo suburbs of the 1990s of the twentieth century to the present time and current configuration of this culture that extols the conspicuous consumption as status via, belonging and sociability, the offense committed by teenagers, is one of resources or only possible to establish social relations in the territories, based on the consumption of material goods, forming what we call the acquisition of citizenship. For this, we question the social relations of adolescents authors of infraction act of drug trafficking, for access to cultural industry and conspicuous consumption through bibliographical, documentary studies and field research to examine the hypothesis drawn for this study. This thesis understood that consumption has become synonymous with citizenship, which, the construction of identities is integrated directly into the commodity fetish. This phenomenon involves all social classes and has been the subject of reflection, criticism, judgments and formation of stereotypes when it appears in adolescence the working class. Teens, intentionally selected that meet socio-educational measure of assisted freedom in Specialized Reference Center for Social Assistance (CREAS), the city of Batatais / SP were interviewed and from the these, we built theoretical and analytical categories for critical appraisal from the perspective of full and sociality, thought by Karl Marx and other contemporary authors.
