The landscape holds materiality and immateriality, the latter being the subject of our study. Interest occurred precisely because of the study area is rich in legends members of the Brazilian intangible cultural heritage. The objective is therefore to identify members legends of the cultural spectrum, of the community of Quilombo Mandira, in the city of Cananéia/ SP, and spatializes them, through cultural mapping. Complemented with pictures of landscapes and drawings developed by the community, the existing symbolic elements in its imagery, is to understand how these symbolisms are present in the landscape. To this end, the work is guided by the theoretical framework of Cultural Geography and the New Cultural Geography. In this perspective, there were two field studies with application of interviews, which yielded four legends and their spatiality of the symbolic landscapes, summarized in cultural mapping. This work is expected to contribute to the world of Cultural Geography, bringing methodological proposals for cultural mapping, targeting the spatial understanding broadly. Also noteworthy is the importance of the return of the works developed in academia to society, through the delivery of the final statement, as a contribution and aid for local tourism projects, since it is observed a growing of this activity in the quilombo
