Resumo: The lack of contextualization of chemical processes covered in class is becoming increasingly difficult for young people learning in high school. Using a teaching chemistry deck of cards, it is possible to increase the students' interest and understanding. Through research and correlations with other games, a first deck prototype was developed with 52 cards grouped in 4 different suits, being that each suit represents an organic function and each set of 13 cards of the same suit follows a sequence of number of carbon atoms in the structure. The development of the game took place through tests with the group members and as soon as the card sets are made, they with be applied to high school students as an additional resource to the exercise of concepts learned in class.

Utilizando um baralho didático de química, é possível fazer com que o interesse dos alunos e o entendimento dos mesmos nas aulas de química aumentem. Através de pesquisas e correlações com outros jogos, o primeiro protótipo do baralho foi desenvolvido com 52 cartas agrupadas em 4 naipes diferentes, sendo que cada naipe representa uma função orgânica e cada conjunto de 13 cartas de um mesmo naipe obedece a uma sequência de número de átomos de carbono na estrutura.
