Resumo: The present work is a bibliographical research about the musicalization of adults, approaching the theme with the concept of andragogy created by Malcon Knowles. This concept seeks to draw ways to approach education for the adult students, since this group has different aspects from the child students. Andragogy stil seeks to insert the student, in a more active way, in the participation and creation of their learning project, thus, students and teachers build together ways to reach their goals. The work also defends that we are constantly being musicalized. This process can be done both listening to music during the day and in music classes through experimentation, improvisation, singing, body percussion, music notation, among other means that make musical learning more meaningful for the student. Finally, the work also features an interview with three adult music students relating the results to the bibliographical research.

Tal conceito busca traçar formas de abordar a educação para os estudantes adultos, uma vez que este grupo possui aspectos diferentes dos estudantes infantis. A andragogia ainda busca inserir o aluno, de forma mais ativa, em comparação a uma educação musical tradicional, na participação e criação do seu projeto de aprendizado, assim, alunos e professores constroem juntos as formas de alcançarem seus objetivos. O trabalho também defende que estamos sendo, constantemente, musicalizados. Esse processo pode ser feito tanto durante escutas cotidianas quanto nas próprias aulas de música por meio de experimentações, improvisações, canto, percussão corporal, notação musical entre outros meios que tornam o aprendizado musical significativo para o aluno.
