A influência midiática em reportar fluxos migratórios: a exclusão ou inclusão de determinados grupos de refugiados

This monograph is dedicated to the study of the the migratory flows and the refugee crisis in Europe, considered the most serious humanitarian crisis since the Second World War. In order to understand these processes it is necessary that we understand the economic changes that caused it. The final decades of the twentieth century were decisive for the consolidation of global capitalism and the consequent shift of previously natural humans rights, like the right to migration that was present in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This monograph builds on the historical journey since 90's to understand how the markets that open at the end of the Cold War and the victory of capitalism were responsible for subjective change in all areas of human life. Politically, the weakening of the welfare state and the end of the social politics, we produce a helpless and frustrated subject, unstable jobs and unemployment due to the dislocation of capital that guarantees the companies to go to where it is convenient economically. Unemployment is now structural, and it becomes a reality both in the global cities, where capital plays a greater role and has a greater cultural prestige, than in the underdeveloped cities. The people of these countries, due to the lack of quality in social, economic, environmental, political (most of theses countries faces civil war and coups d'état) migrate to Europe, a continent that is now unable to contain those fluxes or develop social politics for immigration in Europe. These two social groups of unemployed (citizens and immigrant) now fights for the same space in the city, which will produce new racist and xenophobic waves. The influence of the media is crucial, in order to project the responsibility for all these processes, with a creation of narratives and false numbers to strengthen the idea that the responsibility of the immigrant in all social problems is increasingly...
