Resumo: | This text, supported by the Social Representations Theory (SRT), reports some results of a research with students from the 1st/4th years of the College of Sciences and Technology from the State University of São Paulo (FCT-Unesp) on the teacher’s work/identity. We applied 278 questionnaires (free association questions on the teacher’s work and profile). Two groups with former students (five with teaching degrees and four with degrees in Education) were organized. We analyzed issues regarding the choice for the teaching profession (Geography - 3; Math - 04; Physical Education - 01 and Pedagogy – 10). Partial results: 1. There are differences between the social representations of students enrolled in Teaching and Education courses; 2. These people say the profession requires dedication and commitment; 3. They establish a strong relationship between career choice and the “taste” for the profession; 4. They believe that their role is greatly challenging: it involves helping prospective students and commitment to the school. |

Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp)Gomes, Alberto Albuquerque [UNESP]Guimarães, Célia Maria [UNESP]Menin, Maria Suzana De Stefano [UNESP]Lima, Claudia Maria de [UNESP]Leite, Yoshie Ussami Ferrari [UNESP]Zechi, Juliana Aparecida Matias [UNESP]2015-04-27T11:55:53Z2015-04-27T11:55:53Z2012info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/article223-248application/pdfhttp://www.metodista.br/revistas/revistas-metodista/index.php/EL/article/view/3033/3156Educação & Linguagem, v. 15, n. 26, p. 223-248, 2012.2176-1043http://hdl.handle.net/11449/12259710.15603/2176-1043/el.v15n26p223-248ISSN2176-1043-2012-15-26-223-248.pdf59000223548348544339807008555214593146879707637481572836337872790000-0003-4979-5070Currículo Lattesreponame:Repositório Institucional da UNESPinstname:Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP)instacron:UNESPporEducação & Linguageminfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2023-11-22T06:14:20Zoai:repositorio.unesp.br:11449/122597Repositório InstitucionalPUBhttp://repositorio.unesp.br/oai/requestopendoar:29462023-11-22T06:14:20Repositório Institucional da UNESP - Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP)false |
