Resumo: Aiming to celebrate the National Day of mathematics, the Mathematics Teaching Laboratory (LEM) - IGCE - Unesp / Rio Claro, held the "Journey I of the LEM: Math Day Celebration" which happened on 06 May 2015. This event was open to the public of the university and the community, with a well diversified program in order to contribute to the training of future teachers, as well as in-service teachers. Besides this, we intended to expose the presence of mathematics in various fields of study. The proposed activities were developed throughout the day, opening in the morning with a brief presentation about the event, and ending with a movie in the evening.

The proposed activities were developed throughout the day, opening in the morning with a brief presentation about the event, and ending with a movie in the evening.Com o objetivo de comemorar o Dia Nacional da Matemática, o Laboratório de Ensino da Matemática (LEM) – IGCE – Unesp/Rio Claro, realizou a “I Jornada do LEM: Comemoração do Dia da Matemática”, realizada no dia 06 de maio de 2015. Este evento foi aberto ao público da universidade e da comunidade, com uma programação bem diversificada, a fim de contribuir com a formação dos futuros professores e dos professores em serviço. Além disso, tínhamos a intenção de expor a presença da Matemática nos diversos campos de estudo.
