The child abuse is a problem that permeates the entire society and can be considered one of the most important causes of morbidity and mortality in childhood. It notes that all professionals who have contact with the child in their daily lives, especially the kindergarten teachers have a duty to identify and refer suspected and / or confirmed cases. Thus, this study aimed to verify the suspected and / or confirmed of violence against children in public schools of primary education in the city of Araçatuba / SP, with the help of kindergarten teachers, addressing aspects such as the description of cases of violence, the identification of the profile of the child and the abuser, the recognition of sporadic and recurrent cases and the identification of the areas most affected by cases of violence in the city. This study took place in five municipal schools of basic education Araçatuba / SP. The subjects were encouraged to respond to a report that was applied in interview form, in order to raise the number of suspected abuse and / or confirmed against children in these schools. Data were entered and analyzed using Excel and SPSS. With the results expected to contribute to the scaling of violence against children, as well basing, actions directed to your face
