Repensando a forma de ensinar geografia: aplicação de alguns princípios da Escola da Ponte em uma escola pública de Assis/SP

This work is aimed to evaluate the application of some principles developed in the Escola da Ponte in the Geography classes of a São Paulo state school . The inspiration for this study came after a field work offered during the graduation course, through the discipline of Regency Stage in 2014, which allowed me to know different models of schools in São Paulo State, among them one which works with the principles of the Escola da Ponte. It was in the state school Dom Antônio José dos Santos, during the 3rd and 4th bimesters that the present research has been developed after several routine inquires as a teacher at this school and after the repetitive social and learning adversities faced among the students from there, I have searched in the Escola da Ponte, punctually in its principles, to link the São Paulo State Curriculum of Basic Education, apply in the discipline of Geography and its concepts while I was teaching in this school, and thus observe them in practice, in the 7th grade A. The students were able to develop by themselves autonomously, responsibly and caringly, dynamic activities which value the reflection and the critical analysis involving the school institution in general. The results of this study use bibliographic references about the theme, visual resources from the school and testimonials, which certainly resulted in innovations, new challenges which may be possible to transform the educational systems with changes in some determined aspects within the own system
