The project "The School goes to the caves" in partnership with Aitiara School of Waldorf Education in Botucatu, SP. This year 2015 marks 25 years of existence. Recognized by UNESCO as an associate school, Aitiara School keeps its focus on education for peace, and today has about 340 students distrubuídos between kindergarten, elementary and secondary education. Being held with students of the 7th grade of elementary school aims to meet demands in chemical disciplines and areas of environmental education and sociology that are part of basic education. In addition to the students, participate actively in all phases of the project teachers, parents and guardians by students and community Demetria district where the school is located. The methodology has been applied and refined methods linked to biological sciences, exact and humanities. The activities are annual and divided into three distinct phases called pre journey; trip and post trip. The results obtained over these two and a half decades of uninterrupted activity reveal that the methods are suitable for their purposes. Annually are sought and studied additional activities for project improvement.
