O trabalho pedagógico no contexto hospitalar

Resumo: With the expansion of the pedagogue's areas of activity, the hospital environment will have space for this professional, who must guarantee the schooling of school-age subjects who, due to temporary or permanent illnesses, are deprived of school life. Several studies show that there is a considerable improvement in the clinical picture of patients who participate in pedagogical care, since this is the internal routine of their out-of-hospital routine. Thus, this research aims to develop pedagogical activities in the hospital context and evaluate the opinion of those involved (parents, the students themselves and the hospital health team) in the work performed. The intervention occurred twice a week, with pediatrics patients from a Public Health Unit of Bauru, and in partnership with local professionals. Each attendance presented a didactic sequence with two or three activities, of different knowledge, that were developed with beginning, middle and end, counting on a brief pedagogical evaluation that considered the schooling of the student. The activities were developed with playful materials, with support of tablets, applications, storytelling, games, artistic and logical practices, and in the unfeasibility of writing practices were performed with emphasis on orality. Data collection took place through semi-structured interviews and field diary annotations. The results indicate that 104 children participated in the activities and that 1 in 3 children presented serious lags in mathematical literacy and language. It is hoped that this research contributes to the strengthening of the area, as well as to the sensitization of the hospital staff to the importance of having a hospital class in the hospital context. In addition, as social relevance, it is considered that interned students can participate in pedagogical activities, where the school contents of the year they are enrolled are taught in a playful way.

Diversos estudos comprovam que há considerável melhora no quadro clínico de pacientes que participam de atendimento pedagógico, pois esse reaproxima o interno de sua rotina social fora do hospital. Assim, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo desenvolver atividades pedagógicas no contexto hospitalar e avaliar a opinião dos envolvidos (pais, os próprios alunos e a equipe de saúde do hospital) no trabalho realizado. A intervenção ocorreu duas vezes por semana, com pacientes da pediatria de uma Unidade Pública de Saúde de Bauru, e em parceria com profissionais do local. Cada atendimento apresentou uma sequência didática com duas ou três atividades, de diferentes saberes, que foram desenvolvidas com começo, meio e fim, contando com uma breve avaliação pedagógica que considerou a escolaridade do estudante. As atividades foram desenvolvidas com materiais lúdicos, com apoio de tabletes, aplicativos, contações de histórias, jogos, práticas artísticas e lógicas, e na inviabilidade da escrita foram realizadas práticas com ênfase na oralidade. A coleta de dados ocorreu através de entrevistas semiestruturadas e anotações em diário de campo. Os resultados apontam que 104 crianças participaram das atividades e que 1 a cada 3 crianças apresentaram sérias defasagens na alfabetização matemática e na linguagem. Espera-se que esta pesquisa contribua para o fortalecimento da área, bem como para sensibilização da equipe do hospital para a importância de se ter uma classe hospitalar no contexto hospitalar.
