Literatura na escola: a importância das estratégias de leitura para a formação de novos leitores

This research aimed to map, in scientific articles, pedagogical practices with the horizon Literature in the search for understanding their contribution to the integral formation of students in Early Childhood Education and early years of Elementary School, list the equipment used in the reading practices taking literature as focus, identify readings spaces promoted in the school context and distinguish reading incentive practices for the entire school community. Formative importance of literature becomes understood as a liberation instrument that provides the development of the capacity for reflection and criticality. For that performed a literature search (GIL, 2009) from the collection and analysis of articles located in the Congressional Record of Brazil Literature (COLE) of 2014 and the International Congress Proceedings Literature of the Childhood and Youth - UNESP in 2015. The work had the intention to broaden the understanding of the choice of literature in school like a creative and reflective practice. Based on the analysis performed, we highlight the role of schools to bring children and young people of Literature universe, which is an important training strategy not only intellectual but social, political and cultural, where the teacher is the mediator responsible for providing experiences pleasurable and meaningful reading that culminate in the formation of new readers
