Resumo: This work is the result of a literature review of the old fingering applied to the harpsichord based on treaties Arte de tañer fantasia, Tomás de Sancta Maria, L'art de toucher Le clavecin of François Couperin, and the Essay on the true art of playing keyboard instruments, of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach. Its main objective is to affirm the importance of the ancient fingering for the interpretation of baroque pieces for harpsichord, which is a reach mechanism of the flow of historical music speech; and its overall objectives, which complement the range of the principal, the understanding of sound production mechanism of the instrument discussed here, as well as posture and mobility of the hands of the player. Three works for keyboard were analyzed in the study of his fingerings and how these determine the articulation of the melodic lines. The parts analyzed are: Applicatio of Johann Sebastian Bach; Quatrième prélude (L'art de toucher le clavecin), François Couperin; Toccata prima (in G major), Alessandro Scarlatti.

Tem como principal objetivo afirmar a importância do dedilhado antigo para a interpretação de peças barrocas para cravo, sendo este um mecanismo de alcance da fluência do discurso musical da época; e tem como objetivos gerais, que complementam o alcance do principal, a compreensão do mecanismo de produção sonora do instrumento aqui abordado, bem como postura e mobilidade das mãos do instrumentista. Foram analisadas três obras para teclado com foco no estudo de seus dedilhados e no modo como estes determinam a articulação das linhas melódicas.
