People with visual impairments have historically been excluded from society through educational actions that can establish their place. But, how does this apply to art? Research on the development of art through the perception of visually impaired people and the work carried out by museums to insert visually impaired audiences are important issues for reflection. From these points we aim to point out possibilities to make the arts accessible to people with visual impairments, starting from the understanding that visual reading is not the main one for the knowledge of the arts, tactile works. The results describe that these possibilities are available in museums such as the Pinacoteca de São Paulo, which has a whole program to deal with the PEPE - Educational Program for Special Audiences, responsible for the Tactile Gallery, and through them it is possible to see how it is carried out. the preparation to receive and promote accessibility to the visually impaired person at the museum. Also as a way of inserting the public more deeply into the arts, the artist Gabriel Bonfim held his 3D photo exhibition to Tachograph, which aims to reconcile the artistic experience for all audiences, including the visually impaired audience.
