A importância da universidade na organização de eventos para o desenvolvimento do restaurante rural Porto Maria e para o lazer da comunidade local

In the tourism industry, the events can be an alternative and an opportunity for the location; cause it can brings some chances that will unlock the local development and growth. This research was released at the Restaurante Rural Porto Maria, in the Assentamento Porto Maria, located in Rosana, São Paulo Estate west. The groups PET Turismo (Programa de Ensino Tutorial) and GEPTER (Grupo de Estudo e Pesquisa do Turismo no Espaço Rural) are groups of the university UNESP, Rosana campus; these groups help the restaurant in their activities and actions. The Prefeitura Municipal de Rosana offers recourses to the population too. These work ships are very important to give an upgrade in the events of the assentamento Porto Maria. The general goal of this research is to analyze the importance of the events to the Restaurant Porto Maria development. And to show that the events it’s a form to promote the restaurant and to bring money to the people. About the methodology, were used visits in loco and bibliography research to manage this work. Thought, the events fomentam the flux of the restaurant and help to escoar the production people. But it is necessary to organize and plan the events very well, it is important to think the events like a strategy to obtain their regalias. The development of the restaurant Porto Maria, contribui with better structure and leisure to people, and in other site, contribui with the university groups, that can release their resources and studies about the theme.
