The present research has as its objective to evaluate Freinet's technique of the Book of Life from the analysis daily records of students of last year of early childhood education (old preschool) and of the first five years of the of the basic education a public school unit of the city of Bauru-SP. Through the content Analysis Methodology, we analyze the link between the curriculum content and the material contained in the Book of life. Noting the records developed by students we did looking for analysis and pointing techniques used by Freinet in his works through the drawings, writings and other forms of expression of children. We chose this pedagogy, because the Freinet Pedagogy is a proposal which opposes the scholastic education, which is directed by exhibition lecture, devoid of student participation in the process of appropriation of knowledge. Célestin Freinet, French educator, takes as essential the student's interest in the teaching and learning process, for so much, developed from its everyday practice in the primary school, a living teaching. We check the presence of this teaching-learning relationship in the analysis carried out evidenced the existence of a variety of Freinet's techniques during the exploitation of books and the contributions of a pedagogy guided for critical reflection and knowledge construction, through autonomy and cooperation.
