Resumo: | Many students do not understand why to study organic chemistry at school, as they cannot correlate it with their daily lives, discouraging their learning. Many medicinal plants are present daily in our lives, especially in the use of teas to cure illnesses, alleviate symptoms and for body care. The bioactive chemical constituents from medicinal plants present chemical structures with organic functions, such as phenols and alcohols, which can be contextualized so that the students can assimilate the theoretical content and correlate with their daily lives and show greater interest in learning organic chemistry. In this sense, the present research proposes a didactic-pedagogical planning through the production of a Multistrategic Didactic Unit (UDM), in order to assist and organize the teacher planning. For doing so, it is necessary to carry out seven tasks: (i) characterization of the school context, (ii) epistemological scientific analysis, (iii) didactic-pedagogical analysis, (iv) methodological approach, (v) definition of objectives, (vi) definition of didactic strategies, and (vii) definition of evaluation strategies. This UDM will be based on a 3 Pedagogical Moments (3PM) methodological approach. The theoretical framework is based on the seven tasks of the UDM and as a data analysis methodology it is checked if there is consistency between the UDM theoretical framework and the defined methodological approach. The multi-strategic approach used in this didactic planning were: case study, lecture, group work and Information and Communication Technology (ICT), all chosen according to the 3 PM methodology. So, the organic functions contents of alcohols and phenols were worked on, using medicinal plants mint, pepper-rosmarin, cloves and their chemical constituents, contextualizing the use of teas in the didactic strategy of the case study. This didactic planning proposal may constitute an alternative for teaching organic chemistry, related to the content of organic functions alcohol and phenol. |

This didactic planning proposal may constitute an alternative for teaching organic chemistry, related to the content of organic functions alcohol and phenol.
