Resumo: The railways in contemporary cities are shaped by forces and dynamics that create multiple and heterogeneous ambiances, involving unique bodies and areas exposed to constant changes and conflicts. In the search for recognition of these forces that weave the urban bodily experience, this research focuses on the surroundings of the São Carlos Railway Station in São Paulo. It investigates urban practices and inventiveness through the perceptions and cognitions of the relationships between the body and the city, focusing on subjects, ambiances, and the devices that shape these encounters. To reveal the experimentation in/with the city, it utilizes walking as a dwelling device, observing encounters through affects. It employs Deleuzian-Guattarian concepts to highlight the differences, heterogeneities, and multiplicities present in the analyzed ambiances. The practice gathers photographs, affective mappings, field diary notes, and graphic expressions, which, when revisited and combined, generate a kind of cartography. This cartography never closes and is always in motion, constituting a research-experience that mobilizes body and thought.

Na busca pelo reconhecimento dessas forças que tecem a experiência corporal urbana, esta pesquisa se concentra no entorno da Estação Ferroviária de São Carlos-SP. Investiga práticas e inventividades urbanas através das percepções e cognições das relações do corpo com a cidade, focando nos sujeitos, nas ambiências e nos dispositivos que conformam esses encontros. Para revelar a experimentação na/com a cidade, utiliza o caminhar como dispositivo de habitar, observando os encontros pelos afetos. Emprega conceitos deleuziano-guattariano para destacar as diferenças, heterogeneidades e multiplicidades presentes nas ambiências analisadas. A prática reúne fotografias, mapeamentos afetivos, anotações de um diário de campo e expressões gráficas, que, quando revisitados e combinados, geram uma espécie de cartografia.
