Effective administrative protection of the right to access potable water in Brazil: the recognition of a fundamental human right

Resumo: Access to potable water is a concern in recent decades due to population growth and inadequate use of water resources, with the need to overcome this paradigm emerging. The problem is: what are the challenges for implementing effective administrative protection in public policies on access to potable water as recognition of a fundamental human right in Brazil? Methodologically, systemic-complex theory, deductive method and bibliographic research are adopted. Based on the principles of sustainability, solidarity and human dignity, it was verified that for the proper management of water resources there is a need for effective administrative protection of public policies to guarantee access to potable water in an equal, comprehensive and spontaneous way.

A problemática reside: quais os desafios para implementação de uma tutela administrativa efetiva nas políticas públicas de acesso à água potável como reconhecimento de um direito humano fundamental no Brasil? Metodologicamente adota-se a teoria sistêmico-complexa, método dedutivo e pesquisa bibliográfica.
