SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY: REPORT ON AN EXPERIMENT IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Resumo: The purpose of this paper is to present an experience report about the work of scholar psychologists in Elementary School, emphasizing the development of a teaching project. This project intended to improve the interpersonal relationship between students in a fourth grade class. Through group work, method proposed by the new pedagogy of Jean Piaget (1998), and problematizing education of Paulo Freire (1997), systematic meetings were held with students to reflect on ethical values , bullying and protection of child rights. It was observed throughout this project relationship and communication improvements between peers, what suggests that interventions have contributed to improve the relationship between students.

El objetivo de este artículo es presentar un relato de experiencia sobre el trabajo del psicólogo escolar en los primeros años de la escuela primaria, haciendo hincapié en el desarrollo de un proyecto de enseñanza. Este proyecto tuvo como objetivo describir las interacciones sociales de los alumnos en una clase de cuarto grado. Através de trabajo en grupo, método propuesto por la nueva pedagogia de Jean Piaget (1998) y de la educación problematizadora de Paulo Freire (1997), se realizarón encuentros sistemáticos con los alumnos para una reflexión sobre valores éticos, bullying y proteción de los derechos de los niños. Posterior a la intervención, pudo observarse una mejora continua en las interacciones y en la comunicación entre los pares, lo que hace suponer que las intervenciones han calificado la relación entre los niños.    O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar um relato de experiência sobre o trabalho do psicólogo escolar no ensino fundamental, destacando o desenvolvimento de um projeto de ensino. Esse projeto objetivou qualificar as relações interpessoais dos alunos de uma turma de quarta série. Por meio do trabalho em grupo, método proposto pela pedagogia nova de Jean Piaget (1998), e da educação problematizadora de Paulo Freire (1997), foram realizados encontros sistemáticos com os alunos para refletir sobre valores éticos, bullying e proteção dos direitos da criança.
