Resumo: | One of the difficulties found in the development of psychology is the guarantee of competence in training for their peers. In this sense, the purpose of this article is to discuss the importance of clinical supervision as an essential tool for developing therapeutic skills in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) in psychology undergraduates. From a brief background on the topic, the text emphasizes the three dimensions of competence in the clinical management of CBT, with emphasis on three dimensions: knowledge, technical skill and ability for inter-relationships. Then, the focus is on clinical supervision and activities that are necessary for the development of skills in CBT. Because of its specificity, the format of the supervision, training exercises, discussion of case and supervisor-supervising relationship were listed as essential. En este sentido, el propósito de este artículo es discutir la importancia de la supervisión clínica como una herramienta esencial para el desarrollo de habilidades terapéuticas en terapia cognitivo-conductual (TCC) en estudiantes de psicología. Desde una breve reseña sobre el tema, el documento hace énfasis en las tres dimensiones de competencia en intervención clínica: conocimiento, habilidad técnica y la capacidad de inter-relaciones. Entonces, la atención se centra en la supervisión clínica y las actividades necesarias para el desarrollo de habilidades en la TCC. Debido a su especificidad, el formato de la supervisión, los ejercicios de entrenamiento, la discusión y el supervisor de caso, la relación de supervisión fue catalogado como imprescindible. Por último, las listas son la evaluación del aprendizaje y la práctica educativa como muy importante. Palabras clave: supervisión de terapia, enseñanza, aprendizaje, competencia profesional, terapia cognitiva-conductista.Uma das dificuldades encontradas no desenvolvimento da psicologia é a garantia de competência de formação de seus pares. Nesse sentido, o objetivo geral deste artigo teórico é discutir a importância da supervisão clínica como instrumento essencial para o desenvolvimento de competências terapêuticas em terapia cognitivo- -comportamental (TCC) em graduandos de psicologia. A partir de uma breve contextualização sobre o tema, o texto enfatiza as três dimensões de competência no manejo clínico em TCC: conhecimento, habilidade técnica e habilidade de inter-relação. Em seguida, o foco recai sobre a supervisão clínica e suas atividades necessárias para o desenvolvimento de competências em TCC. Em decorrência de suas especificidades, o formato da supervisão, as atividades formativas, a discussão de caso e a relação supervisor- supervisionando foram elencados como fatores essenciais. Por último, aponta-se também como importante a avaliação da aprendizagem e da própria prática educativa.
