Resumo: The theme of this research is the community centers of collective use and appropriation, built without government support over the last ten years in vulnerable territories of developing countries. The work proposal was to understand what characterizes the vulnerable territory and to verify, from the selection of seventeen works built in these conditions, the solutions employed in relation to its viability, the construction of the building and the survival of the same, so that, through it is possible to evaluate and identify the solutions employed to support future projects to be accomplished out under these conditions.
