Resumo: The Family Health Program (FHP) is designed for the reorganization of Primary Care in the country, being highly innovative in its interactive aspect of the relationship between professionals and the community. The health assessment is to provide fundamental support to all decision making within the Health System This study aims to evaluate the Family Health Program in the municipality of Tangará da Serra - MT, from the perspective of users. The study included 609 people registered, chosen randomly in 10 of the Family Health Units responding to a questionnaire drawn up with open and closed questions. The evaluation was based on: access and availability, infrastructure, host, user-professional relationship health, efficiency and resolution, territoriality and decentralization, and information and participation in management. The data, tabulated and analyzed statistically, have a favorable outlook on the FHP by users. However, some aspects deserve attention in relation to the reception, lack of medicines and access to consultations and the reference. It is expected therefore that this work can contribute to better planning in the management of units of the FHP, with an additional tool to improve users' satisfaction and improve this model for basic care.

A avaliação em saúde tem como propósito fundamental dar suporte a todo processo decisório no âmbito do Sistema de Saúde. Este trabalho tem por objetivo avaliar o Programa de Saúde da Família no município de Tangará da Serra MT, sob a perspectiva dos usuários. Participaram deste estudo 609 pessoas cadastradas, escolhidas aleatoriamente, nas 10 Unidades de Saúde da Família respondendo a um questionário elaborado com questões abertas e fechadas. A avaliação baseou-se nos seguintes aspectos: acesso e disponibilidade; infra-estrutura; acolhimento; relação usuário-profissional de saúde; eficácia ou resolutividade; territorialidade e descentralização; e informação e participação na gestão. Os dados, tabulados e analisados estatisticamente, demonstraram uma perspectiva favorável em relação ao PSF pelos usuários. Entretanto, alguns aspectos mereceram atenção em relação ao acolhimento, falta de medicamentos e, acesso às consultas e à referência. Espera-se, assim, que este trabalho possa contribuir para um melhor planejamento na gestão das unidades do PSF, sendo mais um instrumento a fim de melhorar a satisfação dos usuários e aprimorar este modelo de atenção básica.Made available in DSpace on 2015-09-14T09:17:50Z (GMT).
